West Georgia Technical College
West Georgia Technical College is part of the Technical College System of Georgia, meaning some credits earned at the school are transferable to other technical schools in the network. West Georgia Tech offers two-year Associate of Applied Science degree programs as well as diplomas and certificates programs in various occupational fields including accounting, dental assisting, medical assisting and registered nursing. The college has several satellite campuses, including the Coweta campus located in Newnan.

Central Educational Center
The Central Educational Center is a technical school for high school students in grades 9 to 12. The curriculum was developed in partnership with local high schools and businesses and includes courses that combine academic learning with a technical school education. Programs of study at the school include business, HVAC, graphic communications and welding. High school students have the opportunity to earn a dual-enrollment degree, meaning they earn a college degree from West Georgia Technical College while also earning their high school diploma. The Central Educational Center campus is the also the site for West Georgia Technical College's Coweta location.
