Calling a doctor's office to make an appointment can be very stressful. Some may not feel up to describing the problem they are having, or they are concerned that finding a time to see the doctor will be difficult . According to the HealthAngle website, If the doctor's receptionist says, "Sorry we don't have a appointment for two months," be bold and explain your health issue. If you have special circumstances, let the office know. You may be able to avoid an appointment by speaking directly with the doctor or an assistant by phone.
