Instructions
1. Open a program on your computer that will allow you to create "PDF" documents. One of the popular programs you can use is Adobe Acrobat. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial of the software by visiting the Adobe website. By signing up for the trial, you will have full usage of the software, which is enough to create your brochure. The trial will automatically expire after 30 days.
2. Click on "Forms," located on the Adobe tool bar. Select the option to use the "Form Wizard."
3. Choose "No Existing Form" when prompted for the form type. Select the "Based on Template" option in the New Form Assistant window. Choose "Blank" for the template type. This will open a blank window for you to begin designing your brochure.
4. Click on "Insert" from the menu bar to add an image to your brochure. Click on "Table" from the menu bar to add columns to your brochure. Add your text inside of the two columns. Continue adding images and text until you have completed your two pages.
5. Click on the "Preview PDF" tab to preview your brochure. Click on "File" and then on "Save As" to save your brochure as a .PDF document.
6. Visit a website that will allow you publish your brochure online. One of the sites that will allow you to do this Adobe Labs (no endorsements). Once on such a site, you will be able to select the option to "Upload" your PDF brochure that was saved in the previous step.
After uploading your PDF, you can get a "Link" for the PDF that will allow you to place a link onto your website. You can also select the option to get the "Embed" code. The Embed code will provide you with the necessary HTML code to embed your brochure onto a website.
