Radiography Courses In Singapore & Malaysia

Radiographers take images of the human body.

In Singapore and Malaysia, radiography courses are provided at colleges, hospitals, and vocational institutions. Most programs are offered at the diploma and certificate levels or as postgraduate specializations. As in the United States, radiographers in Singapore and Malaysia take images of the body using x-ray equipment, to assist doctors in the diagnosis of patients. In addition to receiving classroom training in radiography, students gain hands-on training by working at a medical imaging facility.

The college provides a specialized postgraduate clinical training program in biomedical imaging and intervention. Candidates must have a recognized higher professional qualification in the field of medicine with work experience for a period of five years. Additional prerequisites include publishing in major medical journals and paper presentations at clinical meetings.
