Training and Education

The candidate must complete a training and education program and pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists examination to earn the credential.
License Requirements

Licensing ensures the technician has the education and skills necessary to use radiologic equipment safely. Continuing Education

For example, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification requires individuals to complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain the credential.
