Schools In Ohio That Teach Ultrasound

Ultrasound imaging is a medical technique that sends sound waves through the body to form a picture on a computer screen. General ultrasound is routinely used to measure a baby's growth and development during pregnancy but is often used to diagnose problems with other organs. Doppler ultrasound is a special technique used to measure blood flow and velocity.

Programs for ultrasound take two to four years, and most states require an associate degree in radiologic technology. Ohio has schools that offer a course of study in this career field.
