2. Work in the health care industry. 3. Receive a Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field. United Health Group considers a Bachelor's degree a requirement for all their project managers. For larger projects and those requiring several different departments or locations, they even require an advanced degree such as a Master's.
4. Gain acceptance into one of the project management organizations. These organizations charge an annual fee, but they give you access to events only open to members. It's the chance to network with other professionals, learn more about the field and hear about potential job offers before they're opened to the general public.
