The Career Care Institute is located in Lancaster, California, just outside of Los Angeles. CCI offers a fully accredited limited-scope X-ray technician program that consists of three modules. Graduates are prepared for a career as an X-ray technician and to take the national and state certifications. Coursework includes medical terminology, radiation protection and safety, radiological physics and digital imaging. This is a 768-hour program, and graduates are awarded a certificate of completion.

Ultimate Medical Academy
Ultimate Medical Academy is a private institution with locations in Clearwater and Tampa, Florida. UMA's X-ray technician program is approved by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools. Students participate in classroom lectures, lab practice modules and, later in the program, an internship at a health care facility.
