Treat Fibroids Through Diet

Fibroids, also known as uterine fibroma, are benign tumors that grow in the muscle layer of the uterus. Changes in the diet can help to treat symptoms of Fibroids and also help to improve the Fibroids condition.

1. Increase your intake of Soy products and flaxseeds. Both contain phytoestrogens which help to properly regulate the body's estrogen production.


2. Eat more Vitamin K, which helps to encourage blood clotting and can reduce excessive menstrual flow. Sea vegetables are especially high in Vitamin K.


3. Eat a spoonful of Blackstrap Molasses if you suffer from heavy or prolonged periods. Blackstrap Molasses is very high in iron and can help to ward off anemia.


4. Eat fruits and vegetables like cherries, apples, broccoli, cauliflower and brussels sprouts. They contain indole-3-carbinol which helps to support the livers detoxification of estrogen.


5. Eat organic, cultured yogurt to help increase the levels of healthy flora in the large intestine.
