Decide Breast Size In A Breast Reduction

Decide on the best breast size for your body.

Breast reduction surgery is often necessary for well-endowed women plagued with back pain due to the large breasts. If you have decided to go through with a breast reduction surgery, your doctor asks you exactly what you want your new cup size to be. There isn't a right answer to this question, as it is your body. However, there are a few key ways to help to determine the best size for you.

Instructions

1. Talk to your doctor and see what cup size she recommends. Reducing one or two cup sizes may not be enough to reduce the tension on your back. Your doctor has a better idea of what size you may need to become before you feel relief. The last thing you want is to have the procedure performed twice because you do not remove enough the first time.

2. Discuss the situation with your significant other (if you have one). He may be able to offer you input on the situation, as well as support.

3. Look at pictures online of breasts and breast sizes (your doctor also has charts and images of different sized breasts). You may find a pair or size you believe works best with your body.

4. Avoid selecting any breast size that is going to make you feel uncomfortable. Don't go against your gut feeling. Make sure you decide on a size that you believe is going to make you look and feel the best.
