If you are pregnant and would like a free ultrasound, there are plenty of ultrasound programs available to you in Illinois. You may want an ultrasound because you need to confirm how far along you are right away. Perhaps you have already had an ultrasound with your doctor and want a picture of your baby now. Maybe you have an unplanned pregnancy or don't have insurance and need confidential, free services. Whatever the situation is, there are many places to go in Illinois for a free ultrasound.
College of Dupage
You can go to the College of Dupage Sonography Center in the Health and Science Building for a free ultrasound. To receive your free ultrasound you just need to bring in a note from your physician. You can go for the scan at any stage of your pregnancy. A student of sonography will perform your ultrasound under the supervision of a certified technician. You will receive a picture of your ultrasound as a courtesy for allowing the student to perform it upon you.

WomanCare Services
You can have a free ultrasound performed by a technician at WomanCare, which is an organization designed to help women with unplanned pregnancy. WomanCare offers free ultrasounds to determine the month of pregnancy to assist you in determining your options on proceed with your pregnancy if you are unsure.

Caris Pregnancy Counseling and Services
Caris has four locations; Oak Park, Schaumburg and two in Chicago. You can get a pregnancy test and ultrasound for free at one of these locations with an appointment. Caris is a non-profit, faith-based organization and offers other pregnancy-related services as well.

You can get a free ultrasound from Abigail Women's Clinic in Mendota or their mobile unit that travels to surrounding areas. The ultrasounds are performed by limited to determining overall gestation and health of the pregnancy. Ultrasounds are performed by appointment only.
