Founded in 1905, St. Vincent is known as a leader in health science education. Accredited and licensed with the Board of Governors for Higher Education for the state of Connecticut, St. Vincent offers five degree programs, one being radiography. The radiography program will include lab and classroom time. The radiography program requires a completion of 72 credits in order to receive an associate's in science degree.

Middlesex Community College/Radiologic Technology Program
Middlesex Community College has been offering educational programs for over 40 years. Affordable education, flexible schedules and the variety in their programs, are some of the things that they take pride in. Middlesex Community College offers a Radiologic Technology program in which the student will complete a 27-month program, with 12 months attended at the college and 15 months of training onsite at the hospital. The 27-month program also includes an internship that will last for three months. This program is accredited and will take a little over two years for completion.

Quinnipiac University/Radiologist Assistant Program
Quinnipiac is constantly ranked with other top universities and located just within 90 minutes of New York. Quinnipiac is privately owned and offers several graduate/undergraduate majors. The Radiologist Assistant program consist of lab and classroom work. A total of 54 credits are needed for completion, earning a master's of health science degree.

Naugatuck Valley Community College/Radiologic Technology Program
Naugatuck Valley Community College offers on-campus and distance learning programs with full or part-time schedules. The Radiologic Technology program consists of clinical practicum, including 68 hours of class time required to graduate. Each student must maintain at least a "C" average in the radiologic program course.
