View Bcc In Microsoft Outlook

View BCC on Microsoft Outlook.

Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) is a function on most email applications. It allows you to send email to contacts without others being able to view them as a recipient of the message. This is helpful if you need to keep someone abreast of a situation in the office without other recipients knowing it. Microsoft Outlook has a BCC feature, but you need to activate it to use it.

Instructions

Outlook 2002 or 2003

1. Open Outlook by double-clicking the icon on your desktop.

2. Open a new message.

3. Hit "View" in the main menu bar. Scroll down and hit "Bcc Field." If you do not see "Bcc Field" as an option in the View menu, double-click on "View," and you will see the full menu. "Bcc Field" should be in that menu.

4. View the BCC field on the new message.

Outlook 2007

5. Open Outlook by double-clicking its icon on your desktop.

6. Open a new message.

7. Click the "Options" tab along the top of the Outlook interface.

8. Hit the "Show Bcc" button.

9. View the BCC field on the new message.
