1. Be sure that your are Certified Nursing Aide. If not, then you need to take training or attend classes for CNA. If you were a CNA few years ago and you have work in a nursing facility for a least one day within 24 months of the expiration of your certificate, then you can renew your certificate and have that facility sign the prescribed form for that.
2. Visit your every facility, nursing home, retirement homes, home care, day care and assisted living facility in your area. Inquire for hiring. If they do not have CNA position available yet but they offered care assistant or activity aide ,etc, you may accept it. Doing so will give you a chance to be hired as CNA in the future or for some CNA training that the facility offers.
3. Inquire to CNAs' who are already working or have previous CNA experience as to which facility offers good deals or benefits.
