Teens in Las Vegas have both summer and year-round program options.
Teens in Las Vegas have several program options to help them spend their summer days with structure and activity. Athletic programs include sporting programs in lacrosse, soccer and swimming. Arts-oriented programs for the artsy teen exist in theater and music. Business and technology-oriented programs also are available for the intellectual teen. Most teen programs in Las Vegas are day camps.
Ensemble Arts Academy
Teens can broaden their musical horizons at the Ensemble Arts Academy in Las Vegas. Students can take lessons in guitar, piano, general music and choir. Teens learn music via traditional methods as well as innovative ones, such as the Piano Wizard computer game. Ensemble instructors are performance artists as well as educators. As of 2010, the cost of the program is $50 per month per student in group lessons or $115 per month for private lessons.
At the Ensemble Arts Academy, teens also have the opportunity to join Camp Rocks! each summer. Each two-week session is from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sessions end with a concert performed by students. As of 2010, Camp Rocks! costs $129.00 per week.

Drama Kids International Acting Academy
Teens ages 12 to 18-years-old can take part in the Drama Kids International Acting Academy in Las Vegas. Program attendees explore their acting, speaking and auditioning skills. Teens also learn to develop confidence through drama activities, such as skits/scenes, creative movement, characterization and speech exercises. Most of the teachers at Drama Kids International are professional actors and actresses or performers on the Las Vegas Strip. As of August 2010, the cost of the program is $49 to $52 monthly or $416 to $438 yearly.

Advantage Basketball Camp
Youth ages seven to 18 can enjoy all the benefits of learning ball handling techniques in the Advantage Basketball Camp in Las Vegas. Since 1987, thousands of high school and college careers have been bettered by youth participation in the camp. Advantage Basketball Camp is the "official basketball camp for the MSMN Elite Basketball Tournaments National Class, NCAA Certified."
As of 2010, summer camps run from one to five-day sessions held during the day only. Attendees learn the techniques used by professional NBA players to improve their game. Many of the techniques taught in the program prepare attendees for college-level competition. As of 2010, each week costs between $201 and $350.
