The PINK Revolution is a Massachusetts-based breast cancer awareness and support group.
The PINK Revolution is a breast cancer awareness and support group that raises money for breast cancer research and treatment. It is partnered with the UMass Memorial Health Care Center and the UMass Memorial Comprehensive Breast Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, which are both a part of the largest health-care system in central and western Massachusetts.
PINK Revolution's Mission
The PINK Revolution's mission is to spark "fundamental change in the lives of those touched by breast cancer." Their mission statement has three tenets. The first is to remember all who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and to celebrate their lives. The second is to emotionally support those who are currently battling the disease. The last is to support research and treatment that leads to a cure.
UMass Memorial Comprehensive Breast Center
The PINK Revolution is partnered with the UMass Memorial Comprehensive Breast Center, which offers routine breast screenings, a state of the art diagnostic and treatment center, and full care treatment of breast disorders and cancer. The PINK Revolution supports all activity within the center and promotes early detection and prevention programs, as well as programs that provide psychosocial care.
PINK Revolution Funds
All of the funds the PINK Revolution raises go directly to the breast cancer cause. The funds are mainly used to bolster the underfunded programs at the UMass Memorial Comprehensive Breast Center, which include support groups for breast cancer patients and mammograms for the uninsured. The funds also support research and clinical programs that improve medical understanding of the disease.

The PINK Revolution Facebook page is the PINK Revolution's major online social networking presence. It keeps PINK Revolution supporters, breast cancer survivors, and their family and friends up-to-date with the PINK Revolution's fundraising efforts. It also serves to educate its members on new issues and events related to the PINK Revolution by sharing breast cancer-related links and articles.
