Visit a recruiting office before joining the Marine Corp.
If you're interested in joining the United States Marine Corps, you should visit and speak with a recruiter to get any and all questions answered before signing a contract. There are two simple ways to locate a Marine recruiting office, so once you find one nearest your home stop in and meet with a recruiter to discuss your enlistment options.
Instructions
1. Visit the Marine Corps official website (see Resources). Choose the Recruiting tab on the upper right portion of the webpage.
2. Select which option you are interested in, either joining the Marine Corps or becoming an Officer. Click Contact a Recruiter in the upper left portion of the screen.
3. Fill out the requested information, which will find the nearest recruiter to your home. You will be asked to enter personal information such as name and birth date, as well as contact information such as address, phone number and email address. Submit the form and wait for a recruiter to contact you.
4. If you want to know the recruiting locations in your area without contacting the Marine Corps for recruiting information, check the White Pages (see Resources). Enter Marine Corps Recruiting under the Category or Name portion of the Find A Business section, followed by the desired city, state or zip code. Press Find.
5. Look through the results of your search. Different locations will be listed, including the address, phone number and map locations for you to get directions.
