Identify Pfaltzgraff Patterns

Identify Pfaltzgraff Patterns

Pfaltzgraff began in 1811. It started as a small rural pottery shop making earthenware. Today, Pfaltzgraff has 147 patterns. Each has an assortment of items you can purchase to go along with your basic dinner set. You can purchase salt and pepper shakers, vegetable bowls, serving platters, butter dishes, silverware and even place mats. Some patterns have matching candle holders or teapots. Pfaltzgraff's patterns range from simple white Cappucino to the bright Sedona with primary-colored stripes.

Instructions

Identify Pfaltzgraff Patterns

1. Look for the Pfaltzgraff stamp on the bottom of all its pieces. The stamp includes the copyright trademark and tells you the piece is original. Even earlier designs such as the 1970s Village pattern and the simplicity of Folk Art have the Pfaltzgraff stamp.

2. At the Pfaltzgraff website, click Patterns and Collections to view the 147 patterns, as well as the top five: Winterberry, Napoli, Naturewood, Tea Rose and Yorktowne. Yorktowne came out in 1967 and has a simple blue motif, which accommodates many decors. Tea Rose is a soft-flowered design. Naturewood is botanical. Napoli is a combination of orange and yellow. Winterberry has red berries and green trim.

3. E-mail Pfaltzgraff at service@pfaltzgraff.com for a catalog, with catalog request as the subject. You can also call the company at 1-800-999-2811. Peruse the varied patterns in the catalog, such as Daybreak, with the whimsical rooster, or the contemporary Midnight Sun in black glaze.

4. Amazon sells Pfaltzgraff, as does Cooking.com. Stores usually carry some of the well-known patterns, such as Remembrance, with its soft flowers, or Juniper, with its green and burgundy stripes.

5. Visit the Pfaltzgraff website to purchase any pattern. Create an account and enter your items into the shopping cart. Look for the deal of the day. Pfaltzgraff has different pieces from varied patterns on sale each day.

Tips Warnings
