Change A Tail Light On A Mazda Mvp

Driving without working tail lights is dangerous.


Driving your Mazda MPV minivan with burnt-out tail lights is dangerous for everyone on the road, including you. Avoid an accident by changing them as soon as they stop working. Regardless of the year MPV you drive, the instructions for changing a tail light is the same.


Instructions


1. Unscrew the two bolts holding the tail light assembly with a Philips screwdriver. The bolts are located on the assembly on the outside of the vehicle.


2. Pull the assembly out of the car. If you are replacing bulbs in the driver's side assembly, pull the assembly out to the left. For the other side, pull it out to the right.


3. Twist the socket with the burnt-out bulb counterclockwise and pull it out of the assembly.


4. Pull the bulb out of the socket.


5. Push the new bulb into the socket.


6. Reinsert the socket into the assembly and turn clockwise to secure.


7. Reinstall the tail light assembly and screw in the two bolts.
